Michael Langtry

Client Relations Manager

DipFP, DipLI, JP (NSW)

After 40 years in financial services, I've learned that good financial advice is about more than just numbers - it's about understanding what matters most to people.

I started my career with AMP Society, eventually building my own financial planning practice where I spent 35 years helping clients make smart decisions with their money.

When I retired in 2019, I thought that was it. But three years later (and with a gentle nudge from my wife), I found myself drawn back to the industry - this time with Trinity Advice.

Now I get to use my experience in a different way, focusing on building strong relationships with our clients. There's something special about seeing the positive impact that good advice can have on people's lives.

When I'm not at work, you'll find me on the golf course, exploring new walking trails, or spending time with my grandchildren. I've also had the privilege of helping people affected by cancer navigate their insurance, finances and government entitlements through my work with the Cancer Council.

If you could live in any city in the world for a year, where would it be and why?
